The Jubilee of Migrants is a special moment of prayer, encounter, and fraternity, celebrated in communion with the universal Church. It is an opportunity to recognize the contribution of migrants and to reflect on the themes of welcome and Christian mission.




Saturday, October 4

10:00 a.m. – Meeting with the Holy Father

St. Peter’s Square

A time of welcome and listening to the words of the Pope addressed to migrants, refugees, their families, and host communities.


2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. - Pilgrimage to the Holy Door

Participants will have the opportunity to cross the Holy Door of St. Peter’s Basilica, a sign of reconciliation and spiritual renewal.

During the pilgrimage, the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available in the jubilee churches.


Sunday, October 5

10:30 a.m. – Holy Mass presided over by the Holy Father

St. Peter’s Square

A solemn celebration held jointly with the Jubilee of the Missionary World, highlighting the deep connection between evangelization and the journey of migrants.


3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Festival of Peoples

Castel Sant’Angelo Gardens

An afternoon of music, dance, testimonies, and cultural sharing. The event, titled “Migrants and Missionaries of Hope among Peoples”, will showcase traditions and stories from diverse communities around the world.


Practical Information

Admission to St. Peter’s Square for the Holy Mass with the Pope is free of charge and no ticket is required.

Bishops and Priests who wish to concelebrate, as well as Deacons who intend to participate, must register through the Office for the Liturgical Celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff at the following link: [https://biglietti.liturgiepontificie.va/](https://biglietti.liturgiepontificie.va/) 


Participants are encouraged to arrive early to allow for security checks and to ensure an orderly entry. For those coming from outside Rome, welcome points will be available at the main train stations and bus terminals, with volunteers on hand to provide logistical support and information.
